Used in the construction of cockpits, glass windows and conveyor tubes. In real life, bulletproof glass is a alloy of glass and plastics [1].
If you're in a survival world and running out of options, disassembling bulletproof glass can be a good way of acquiring silicon, since windows are generally aesthetic items and thus can be sacrificed for more important parts (e.g. computers). Additionally, the bulletproof glass in conveyor tubes is not actually required for them to function, and can be safely removed at minimal cost to effectiveness.
