For all turrets see Category:Turrets

The missile turret is a computer-controlled weapon for large ships. It can be configured to target meteors, moving objects, and missiles at a range of up to 800m. It will also target any decoys within its effective range. The missiles do not track their target after firing and can therefore be outmaneuvered.

It uses 200mm Missile Containers as ammunition with a maximum capacity of 6 missiles. The turret can be connected to a conveyor system via its bottom hatch. Its contents are also manually accessible from the front.

As of December 2014, On dedicated servers, the turret will consume all the ammo in the gun's inventory instantly after the first shot. Missle turrets are nearly useless on multiplayer currently.
