Overview

The Upgrade modules (Power Efficiency Module,Speed Module, & Yield Module) are upgrades that can be used to improve Power usage, Processing Speed, or Production Yield. Each of these upgrades can have positive and negative effects on your machines and you should find the combination that best suits your needs for each situation.

Usage

Each module has two (2) connection points on the back side of the module that can connect to corresponding upgrade ports on your Refinery or Assembler. You should connect these to your machines using these ports. Total upgrade will be calculated based on the total number of upgrade ports connected. This means that you can span them across two machines for a diminished upgrade on each machine or hang them off the side for a diminished upgrade on only one machine. You will know when each half of the upgrade modules are functioning by an indicator light on each half of the module.

Tips

  • Modules can be mixed and matched to achieve your most favored outcome. A refinery or assembler can have multiple different types of upgrade modules.
  • Modules have two attachment points per module and their upgrade is calculated per active attachment point touching the refinery or assembler.
  • One module can be used across two machines.
