About
The Second Sun Alliance was created by the merging of two allies who had developed a strong working relationship. The private military contractors known as Sicaria, and the military police force previously known as a branch of the United Nations Space Council. Following the collapse of the UNSC, the militarized police force was left to stand alone until it merged with Sicaria, each faction realizing that they shared the same goals, complimented each others weaknesses with their own strengths, and proved time and time again that even under hostile conditions they could still work perfectly together.

Goals and Beliefs
((All a prototype description, subject to change)) The main goal of the SSA is to create a faster than light drive or similar technology that would allow them to be the first group to reach Alpha Centuri. They found themselves dragged into the ongoing conflict over the asteroid belt by a need for resources. However they believe the fighting is pointless and that both the ISA and OSA should work together, their own faction proof that two factions can become inseparable friends. The SSA will not hesitate to defend its borders however, and in its quest for the resources necessary to make the journey to Alpha Centuri they will not hesitate to expand. In much the same manner as the fighting, the SSA believe the Inner Systems Alliance's hopes of terra-forming Mars to replace the lost Earth as a new jewel for civilization is a lost cause. Claiming it could never happen in their lifetime.
The SSA strongly believe that focus should be turned away from the Sol system, and that the groups involved should be looking outwards. This belief ties into the SSA's expansionist nature.
