About Hostile Paradigm
Hostile Paradigm [HSTL] is a gaming community that is intent on running events and servers for Space Engineers. Our goal is to bring to Space Engineers a solid community that grows with the game, by using a well organized base of players with many different skill sets (Resource acquisition, Piloting, FPS Combat, Ship Design) to support one another in larger projects that will be used to help our group achieve it's goals.

Current Activities
Hostile Paradigm currently operates a dedicated server named HSTL-Space Tasmania. The server is invite only. It is a 16 asteroid cluster, with 20-30 extra asteroids added in between 6 and 20 km from the origin of the map (Added by SE Tools), named 'HSTL Space Tasmania'. The server is on 3x-1x-1x settings, randomly spawning cargo ships are activated around once a month, and with standard meteor settings.
The server uses the UC Trade Value System, for ship valuation and as a guide while bartering (No prices are fixed, and haggling is encouraged). Rules of engagement are enforced: 1.) Players must inform someone they are attacking them within 1,000m 2.) The informed party must be online at the time 3.) The call to attack must be made verbally and acknowledged by someone who is at their keyboard 4.) The defender does not have to inform the attacker prior to retaliating
Our group is currently working on putting together the factions and ship designs they will be carrying over to our dedicated server when it goes live (As soon as dedicated servers are supported).
Though the server is set up as a friends only dedicated server, anyone is welcome to join it, simply contact Ash87 for more details. Contact Ash87 on the KSH Forums for more information.
Recruitment
Hostile Paradigm has 2 rules for perspective members
1.) You must be willing to use Teamspeak (This is where we do about 90% of our stuff)
2.) You must be of legal age to view pornographic material in the country you currently occupy
There are many ways to Join HSTL
1.) Find one of our servers and start screaming incoherently about whatever random topic first comes to mind. You will be judged on your ability to form an incoherent argument. If you do well enough you will either be kicked from the server, or asked to join.
2.) Go to our website. There you can find this magical tab labeled 'Join Us' clicking there might be of help
3.) Come to our Teamspeak, which you can find a link to on our website, talk to a few people and decide whether or not the community is a good fit for you (When you join for the first time, you will be unable to speak, do not worry that is normal, it'll be sorted in a few moments).
