Who we are, what we value, and how we operate:
Teamwork:
The founders of Valence want to emphasize that the ability to work in a team is nothing short of a prerequisite to be part of this faction. Efficiency and organization leads to victory. Without the ability to communicate as a team, this idea falls apart.
Creativity and Dedication:
Building ships from nothing requires a degree of creativity. Especially when building a unique creation that the universe has never seen before. The ability to have an idea and then to actually attack it head on regardless of the difficulty and opposition that lies ahead… If this is what you’re all about then you’ve come to the right place. Here in Valence we never go half way. Full commitment is a necessity if things are to be done right. Anyone can throw together a few blocks and call it The Enterprise, but to do it right… to work at the difficult angles, issues of scale, to never give up until the job is done, to push the boundaries of what is possible, that is what Valence is all about.
Military:
Born during the twilight hours of earth’s destruction, the Valence Coalition is determined to rebuild. The darkest hours of humanity are now behind us and we are strong. We fight side by side with those who seek a new dawn for humanity built through honor and equality. Those that would push humanity towards a future built from fear and chaos will face us on the battlefield. We do not believe in destiny, but in hope. We look towards the blackened sky, remembering the twilight hours of earth, dreaming, fighting, believing, and hoping for a new dawn.
Codes of Conduct
- Short and simple.
Ideas are important. If any member has a concept for a ship or even how the faction should be run, please voice it to the appropriate party. Ideas keep the world advancing and without them there will never be progression.
We have a very low tolerance for immaturity, griefing, and drama. Warnings will be issued to members and upon multiple occurrences the guilty party will swiftly be removed from the Coalition.
