Creative Mode in Space Engineers is similar to the Creative Mode in Minecraft. Players have the ability to spawn an infinite number of blocks, unlike Survival Mode where blocks must be welded and built in a time-consuming fashion. In this mode, players are immune to damage and status effects (controlled in World Settings). There may be an option in future versions that allow players to create "blueprints" of designs made in Creative Mode and export them to Survival Mode.[1]
