A rescue ship is any pre-fabricated ship that is available for the player to respawn with if there is no accessible functioning Medical Room, they usually have a countdown timer until they can be used to limit their frequency of use - although it possible for the player to respawn only in their space suit without any ship and no timer. If disabled the player will not be able to respawn in a rescue ship or respawn at all!, without access to a functioning Medical Room.
