Controlling Astronaut
The game starts with astronaut, that player can control. First or third person perspective are the available camera modes and in third person, you can use free view, to rotate camera around the astronaut and zoom in our out of view.
Astronaut has two movement modes: on foot and flying (with jetpack).
While on foot, it can move, sprint, crouch or jump.
While using jetpack, astronaut can fly in in any direction and roll. Using jetpack does not consume anything.
Astronaut has headlights in front of suit which acts as flashlight. Using lights does not consume anything.
While on foot or flying with jetpack, astronaut can open Toolbar Config. Toolbar config allows to select Tools & Weapons, and Building blocks, and drag them to Toolbar, to equip them later with hot-key.
With active drill or weapon, you just point and click mouse, to activate.
Piloting Spacecraft
Piloting is done in the same way as flying with jetpack. Cockpit or third person perspective are the available camera modes and in third person, you can use free view, to rotate camera around the astronaut and zoom in our out of view. Only small ships will have first person perspective available as the larger ships will have third person perspective locked. The larger ships do not have an "eye", rather, they are controlled from a central room using a computer screen.
The same as astronaut, ship can have headlights installed, and are switched on or off the same way as for astronaut. Using lights does not consume anything.
Inertia Dampeners
This feature allows you to fly without being slowed down from automatic thruster balance. The indication in lower left corner informs you about usage of inertia dampers.
