Detects [[ore]] deposits around the ship and displays the location, and distance on the players [[HUD]].

== Usage ==
After placing the Ore detector block, it needs only [[Electricity#Energy_sources|Power]] in order to display [[ore]] in a 50m range (Small ships), or 150m (Large ships) around itself. However, it should be noted that [[Stone]] will not be displayed/detected by the block.

If used in conjunction with an [[Antenna]], the Ore Detector can broadcast the ore it comes near over the array to anyone within range of it. Simply enable the option "Broadcast" option in the control panel.

* If you have a satellite/probe near an asteroid, you can use the ore detector to see what it has from a distance!
