Rocket Launcher is a weapon, and as of Update 01.012.002 (released on 26/12/2013), it is available for small ships. The launcher itself occupies 1x3x1 of small armor blocks. Single Rocket Launcher fires a missile, that can penetrate two blocks thick peace of light armor. Also, missiles have limited range.
Trivia
Rocket Launcher can not impact on its own ship, which can be used to build Rocket Launchers behind Rocket Launchers behind Rocket Launchers... infinitely in order to create a massive powerful ship, that can cut through an large asteroid within few shots.
