Overview

Mining is the mechanic in which a player uses his/her Hand Drill to extract ores from Asteroids.

Usage

Mining can be used to gather ores from Asteroids in order to create objects (ships, stations, etc.). There are two ways to mine, the first way is to manually go out and use your Hand Drill to mine, the other is to use a Station/ship's Drill.

Mining can also be used as a way to make 'Caves' in asteroids which can be used as a well hidden base.

Tips

  • It is highly recommended to use a spherical gravity generator when mining, since the ores will go towards the spherical gravity generator, making it easier to collect.
