All terminal blocks have the following properties:
Interface name: this name is the name of the block in code, it can differ from the name as displayed in the building screen. E.g. Antenna interface name is IMyRadioAntenna - you need to use this interface if you want to get all antennas.

Parent: this is parent of the block (all blocks have IMyTerminalBlock as parent), this can be used for getting type of blocks instead of concrete block type. E.g. if you want to get all lights in grid you will use IMyLightingBlock, if you want only interior light you can use IMyInteriorLight.

Field: this is read only field available for block e.g. for IMyBeacon you can get Radius property. Based on this property you can increase/decrease radius of beacon.

Actions: these are all available actions for block with their names in game, so if you want to increase broadcast radius for antenna, you need to execute IncreaseRadius action for block.
Overview
The Conveyor Junction is a device which allows the transfer of items from one inventory to another through conveyor ports. The small ship variant features six small ports and four large ports, while the large ship variant simply features a large port on each side. Note that it has no control panels or interfaces to interact with.

Usage
The Conveyor Junction automatically allows items to be passed through as soon as its construction has been completed, as long as the grid (ship/station) it is being placed on has power. Like other conveyor blocks, it is also capable of transferring Oxygen and Hydrogen. See Conveyor Mechanics for more information.

On large ships, this block is helpful when linking together multiple separate systems into your conveyor network. On small ships, it's helpful both in linking together multiple systems and in serving as a link between systems using small and large conveyor ports.

Tips
* Small Conveyor blocks and large conveyors cannot directly connect with each other. The only way is to use a block with both large and small conveyor ports, such as a Medium Cargo Container or a Conveyor Junction, as the junction point between them.

Known Issues
* All conveyors require power to function. However, interestingly enough the conveyor blocks do not have any power consumption. So while it does need power to pass items through it, it won't actually drain any power from the grid.
Overview
The curved conveyor tube is a pipe that can transfer items from two angled points. It is cheaper to build compared to the Conveyor Junction, but is limited to only 2 ports. For straight conveyors, the player must use Conveyor Junctions or Conveyor Tubes. For a full explanation on conveyors, see Conveyor Mechanics.

An interesting feature of the curved conveyor tube is that it also has indicator lights on it that inform the player of its status:
style="text-align:center;"|Damaged / No Connection
This specific Conveyor Tube is damaged and needs to be repaired to function.
;Note
:*When not powered, the lights on the conveyor tube will turn red. However, this does not mean items cannot be transferred.

;Important Note
:*It should be noted that the curved conveyor tube is only compatible with large conveyor ports.
Usage
Curved conveyor tubes can help the player if they need to go in different directions to reach the device they want to connect to on the other side. An example of its use is below:
colspan="2" style="text-align:center;" | Example Tutorial

Second, place a curved conveyor tube on the container. You will notice the lights on the block are "red", this is okay; it only indicates that there is no connection on the other end of the conveyor.
:

Next place a small cargo container on top.
:

Moments after, the lights on the curved conveyor tube will turn yellow, indicating a successful connection.
Overview
The conveyor tube is a pipe that can transfer items from two opposite sides. It is similar to the Conveyor Junction but slightly stronger and only has 2 ports. For curves, the player must use Conveyor Junctions or Curved Conveyor Tubes. For a full explanation on conveyors, see Conveyor Network.

Another interesting feature of the conveyor tube is that it also has indicator lights on it that inform the player of its status:
colspan="3" style="font-size:16px;"|Indicator Light Definitions
Color
style="text-align:center;"|Status

style="text-align:center;"|Good Connection
This color informs that there is a successful connection between inventories.

style="text-align:center;"|Limited Connection
This color indicates that the conveyors will only move ammo due to limited power supply (current power demand exceeds supply).

style="text-align:center;"|No Connection / No power
This tube is not connected to at least two inventories or is unpowered.
....
style="text-align:center;"|Damaged / No Connection

Usage
Using the block is simple, and easy to use. An example on how to make use of this is to first:
colspan="2" style="text-align:center;" | Example Tutorial
style="width: 530px;" |

Place a cargo container anywhere on the floor
:

Next place the conveyor tube on the cargo container facing the other direction. You will notice the lights on the block are "red", this is okay; it only indicates that there is no connection on the other end of the conveyor.
:

Now place another cargo container on the other side of the conveyor tube.
:

The light should now turn green, indicating a successful connection

* Players building a small ship on a budget can use Small Cargo Containers as a lighter and cheaper (although requiring some less-common resources) replacement for conveyors.
Overview
The Small Curved Conveyor Tube is a smaller, cheaper version of the Curved Conveyor Tube. It functions the same in that it allows the transfer of items from one inventory to another through conveyor ports on two of its sides. It also has no control panel or interface in which to interact with.

Usage
The Conveyor block automatically allows items to be passed through it once it is finished being built, and the grid (ship/station) it is being placed on has power. Conveyors are also capable of transferring Oxygen and Hydrogen.

While the small ship conveyor blocks are able to transfer items the same way as its larger counterparts, it has some limitations. Not all items are able to pass through the small conveyors as they are too large.

* See Conveyor Mechanics for more information - Small Conveyor: Item List
Media

It is cheaper to build compared to the Conveyor, but is limited to only 2 ports. For straight conveyors, the player must use Conveyors or Conveyor Tubes. For a full explanation on conveyors, see Conveyor Mechanics.

An interesting feature of the curved conveyor tube is that it also has indicator lights on it that inform the player of its status:
Usage
Curved conveyor tubes can help the player if they need to go in different directions to reach the device they want to connect to on the other side. An example of its use is below:

Pohledy
Hra aktuálně nabízí dva možné pohledy : pohled z první a ze třetí osoby.Hráč mezi nimi může přepínat stisknutím “V”. První osoba zobrazuje perspektivu astronauta , zatímco pohled z třetí osoby hráčům umožňuje přiblížení , oddálení a rotaci kamery okolo astronauta. Hra začíná v pohledu třetí osoby

Pohyb

Pokud Inerciální Tlumiče vypnete, loď bude neustále pokračovat v pohybu i bez funkčních trysek. Indikaci , zda-li máte zapnuté nebo vypnuté inerciální tlumiče, naleznete levém dolním rohy vaší obrazovky.
Controlling the Character
All players start a new game as an Astronaut character equipped with a jetpack.
Views
The game has two view options available: first and third person view. The player can toggle between these two views using the “V” key (default key binding). The first-person view displays from the perspective of the astronaut character. While the third-person view allows the player to zoom-in, zoom-out and rotate the camera in any direction around the character. The game begins in third-person view.

Movement
The astronaut has two movement modes: walking (on foot) and flying (with jetpack). While on foot the player can walk, sprint, crouch, and jump. While using the jetpack, the player can move and roll in any direction. Currently, use of the jetpack does not consume any resources.
Accessories
The astronaut is also equipped with headlights in the front of suit which act as a flashlight for the player. Currently, using the headlights does not consume any resources either.
Toolbar
At any time, the player can open the Toolbar Config, which allows them to select Tools & Weapons, and Building blocks, and drag them to Toolbar, to be equipped using the appropriate hot key.

Piloting Spacecraft
The controls for flying a ship are the same as those for controlling the player’s jetpack. First person (Cockpit) or third person (extravehicular) views are available while piloting spacecraft. In third person view, you can zoom-in, zoom-out, and rotate camera around the space craft. Only small ships will have first person perspective available. The larger ships will be locked into the third person perspective, as they do not necessarily need a "cockpit”. Instead, they are controlled using a computer screen from a control station.

The ship can have headlights installed, like that of the astronaut character. They can be switched on or off using the “L” key (default key binding). Using the lights does not consume any resources.

Inertia Dampeners
Inertia dampeners allow the ship to automatically stop its motion when no input is received. Turning off dampeners allows you to fly without being slowed down from the automatic thruster balance. The indication in lower left corner displays the dampener’s current status.

Building is a game function, that allows players to create new objects in space, like mobile ships and stationery stations.

To start building, you will need to open Toolbar Config and create a structure base block and equip some building blocks, to extend it.

Blocks that have some sort of functionality need electricity to operate. Electricity is generated by nuclear reactors and conducted through any type of block. Keep in mind that large systems need more electricity to be fully functional, You need more reactors.
World generator
When starting a new game/world, you can choose between few different options:
* Quick start
* Custom world
** Quick start 1 - Same as "Quick start"
** Quick start 2 - Contains a large green space station surrounded by asteroids
** Survival - a bare minimum to survive
** Empty world
Building a Ship
To create new ship:
* Open Toolbar Config
* Select option "New Small Ship" or "New Large Ship"
When you do this, a base cube in an empty space in front of you will appear and will represent your newly created object. It is not possible to connect two ships.

If you have a large ship under your cross-hair, the game knows you want to add a large block, If it's a small ship, it adds small blocks.

For newly created ship, add armor blocks, Cockpit, Thrusters, Reactor and a gyroscope. The Gyroscope allows your ship to yaw, pitch, and roll. Install thrusters for all directions. If you miss a direction, your ship won't maneuver in that direction. The more thrusters you put for a direction, the more thrust they generate. Add some landing gear to prevent the ship from being damaged while landing.

Power Usage in red means that your ship can use extra reactors. To maximize the output of the thrusters. Collisions in Space Engineers have a great impact on objects. Crashing your small ship into an object can destroy important modules, ship abilities will change and you will have to improvise. You can rebuild all damaged blocks.

The Cockpit orientation determines your ship's front-side - direction in which it will fly.

NOTE: Be careful not to bump into the ship before it has its thrusters and gyroscope installed or the ship will float away.
Building a Station
To create new ship:
* Open Toolbar Config
* Select option "New Station"
When you do this, a base cube in an empty space in front of you will appear and will represent your newly created object. It is possible to connect multiple stations.

These stations are large and unmoving docks for fleets. They can be built in any size, and are the anchor places for ships, small to large. Their immobility allows for magnetic landing gear to attach to them at any angle. These stations require power, but do not need to waste it on thrusters and gyroscopes, just on turrets and gravity generators.

For stations, it is crucial to create a gravitation field. The gravity indicator on the right side of the HUD shows that there is no gravity. After adding a gravity generator, the indicator changes color and an arrow appears. The Arrow shows the direction of the gravity force. Gravity affects only astronauts with a disabled jetpack. The Gravitation force is linear not spherical, this means that player can fall off an edge, and I will keep falling, until it leaves the gravitation field.

Creating and deleting blocks
Press a hot-key (equip from toolbar with numeric key) to select a building block and add a block to an object by clicking the left mouse button. You can add a block only to an existing object. Hold "CTRL" key and click left mouse button to create many blocks in line, hold "CTRL" and "SHIFT" and then click left mouse button to create an area of blocks.

Before block is created, it can be rotated by 90 degrees in all directions. Use "Insert" and "delete" keys to rotate in X axis, "Home" and "End" keys for Y axis, "Page up" and "Page down" for Z axis. To successfully connect a rotated object to a block, you need to make sure that the outlines are green. If the outlines are yellow, it means that the objects cannot be connected.

Remove block by clicking the right mouse button. Hold "CTRL" key and click right mouse button to remove many blocks in line, hold "CTRL" and "SHIFT" and then click right mouse button to remove an area of blocks.

To stop building, select zero slot or use "Unequip" hot-key.
Coloring blocks
Armor blocks can have different colors. First, create armor block, then use the bracket keys to switch between colors. When a color is selected, point at the armor and click the middle mouse button. To create a brush like effect, hold the middle mouse button and move your mouse. To expand the size of a painted area, hold "CTRL" or "SHIFT".
Symmetry mode
Symmetry mode is a new feature released in update 1.006.
It is meant to be used to create ships and structures in a faster way - using symmetry planes:
* Start with creating a new large ship object
* Select an object you want to build
* Press M, click left mouse button to create the symmetry plane
* Press Escape button
You can build or remove any object the way you would normally do, the objects will be mirrored on the other side of the symmetry plane. If you would like to add an object without mirroring:
* Press N to deactivate symmetry mode
* When you are done, click N and continue
To move the symmetry plane
* Press M and point at a different place
* Click left mouse button to change position of symmetry plane
* Press Escape button, build a few blocks to see the change in symmetry
To remove symmetry plane:
* Click M and right mouse button
The symmetry mode allows us to choose between odd or even symmetry plane. To select even symmetry:
* Click M two times
When building in even symmetry, you can be sure the construction always ends in even numbers.
The symmetry mode allows us to mirror on all three axis:
* Create a new large ship object
* To add more symmetry planes, keep pressing M key to browse between all the symmetry planes
* Click left mouse button for every axis you want to be mirrored
For every axis only one can be active at the same time.
To remove or change position of an axes, you need to keep pressing M until you reach the color of the axes you want to edit. Now you can change it's position by clicking left mouse button or remove it by clicking right mouse button.
Deleting and copying whole ships or stations
When your cross-hair is directed towards ship or station, use "Ctrl" + "C" to copy object into clipboard. Clipboarded items may also be transfered to other save files by simply exiting your current save, loading the next and than pasting the item into space.

Use "CTRL" + "X" to cut object and leave it in clipboard, that will essentially delete station from space until you paste it somewhere else.

Use "CTRL" + "V" to paste object.

NOTE: Use cutting with caution, cutting second time will replace clipboard with new object, and you will have no access to old one anymore.

Kinetic Torpedo

A Kinetic Torpedo is simply an arrangement of blocks, usually small (3x3 or 5x5 cross section under the small block set) as its own entity, loaded into a platform or spacecraft. The spacecraft accelerates to maximum speed, then "launches" the torpedo at another object, (ship, station) to produce a damaging effect.

Loading
* A way to load a torpedo is to create the torpedo on a loading ship. Once the torpedo is maneuvered into the ship's torpedo bay, delete the attachment blocks of the loading ship connected to the torpedo.

* Another way to load a Kinetic Torpedo is to build the torpedo in the bay, then delete any attachment blocks still connected to the ship.
* Kinetic Torpedoes can be ships themselves, with the addition of a cockpit and several thrusters.

Firing
* Maneuver the ship to maximum speed, towards the target. To fire, let go of any maneuvering keys, ("W") as this will slow down your ship, and the torpedo will move freely out of the launch tube. Acceleration will pass the spacecrafts speed to the torpedo itself, through potential energy. Rapidly decelerating will release that energy through a process known as basic physics.

* As long as the ship is accelerating, the torpedo will stay seated, (mostly) in the torpedo bay, even with turning. Perfermance varies with the construction of the ship and torpedo.

* Once the torpedo is clear of the torpedo bay, then maneuver to avoid crashing into the target.

* Kinetic Torpedoes can be manually piloted, which results in great speed and accuracy

Effects
* A direct hit from a kinetic torpedo at maximum speed results in an eight large block penetration with an 8x5x5 (lxwxh) small block torpedo.
Light Armor Block
It is most basic square block. It conducts electricity and it has randomly generated texture, that connects to other blocks. On small ships it is 1/2 meter square; on large ships, 2 1/2 meters square.

Light Armor Corner
This is 1/4 of a default armor block, and can be rotated to make more aesthetically pleasing ships or stations. They match up (as in, without seams) to slanted armor blocks and inverted corner armor blocks, but not with standard armor blocks. This block is the most limited in terms of ability to weld to other blocks, as it can only be connected on 3 sides.
Light Armor Slope
1/2 of an armor block, these blocks can also double as extremely steep, 45 degree angle ramps on Stations or large ships. The blocks will match up (as in, without seams) to corner blocks and inverted corner blocks. They can also match up to the default armor blocks on two sides.
